Can AI remove wind noise from a video?

Will it remove all of the wind?

Steady wind and most gusts are removed. Very strong gusts that completely cover a word can leave a short artifact, because the voice underneath was never recorded. In that case try Max strength.

Is this better than a high-pass filter?

Why wind ruins outdoor recordings

Wind doesn't just add a hiss. When it hits the microphone directly it creates low, thumping bursts that cover the voice and push your levels into distortion. Phone and camera mics are tiny and sit right in the airflow, so they catch it worst.

An EQ cut takes the low end out of your voice along with the wind. Our model learned what speech sounds like and turns down everything else, so it reduces the rumble and the gusts while the words stay intact.
